Fancy a look inside the Atomhawk studio?
We were very surprised and overjoyed yesterday when a journalist from Sky Tyne and Wear visited us for a guided tour as well as a quick chat with Ron about The Realm and game development in the North East itself.
Newcastle-based newspaper The Chronicle recently published an article about The Realm and our future plans for the game including more Kickstarter details.

As we start to gear up our plans to launch our campaign on a larger scale with Kickstarter, the website has been given a little make over
The plan being to add a ton of stuff to this as the campaign grows

Welcome to The Realm an amazing new game under development by Atomhawk Design and Lantern Interactive. We’ll be keeping this blog up-to-date with the latest news on development – so keep tuned!
The Realm started life at the world respected art studio Atomhawk Design who specialise in art services for the games, movie and interactive industry. It was a visual project created in the artists’ spare time. Atomhawk head-honcho Cumron Ashtianti met up with Tom Szirtes, an old friend and colleague, at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco in early 2012. Together they discussed creating a game based round the amazing art. Tom and Cumron had both worked in triple A console development previously, but more recently Tom had been working for Orange in mobile development and suggested to make a game for the growing tablet market. So the scene was set!
Some months and many meetings later, and with help from some of our many talented friends we have created the game design, technical designs, production plan and story.
